• The coating produces a forceful, spray-type arc, resulting in deep penetrating welds
• The slag is thin and easily removable
• Class E6013 blue rutile coated electrodes suitable for welding Carbon and C-Mn steels with medium mechanical properties
• Typical Application: Vehicles, ship building and repair, sheet metal, build-up of over machined and worn mild steel surfaces, general light fabrication
• Soft arc therefore suitable for relatively thin plates and bridging wide gaps
